DISTRACTIONS - A Subtle But Very Useful Weapon For Satan

Distractions. While there are many things the enemy uses to keep us out of the will of God, distractions are the subtle things he uses. This can be applied to sporting events, television or as some of my friends call it, hellevision, smartphones, the internet, shopping, ect. I could go on and on but I don't want to be distracted from my main message, no pun intended.

It is so very easy to get our minds on things that have nothing to do with God and although these things aren't necessarily a sin, they can lead us astray from our Master's Grand plan for our lives

What we as believers need to remember is to keep focused on the Word of God, day and night. Psalm 119:15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. KJV. I find great joy in basking in His presence and I also feel lost when I neglect to stay in the Word and have deep fellowship with Him. Friends, Psalm 1:1-2 tells us, 1"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly nor standeth in the way of sinners nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD and in his law doth he meditate day and night."

God's Words are always true and I find these verses to be no different. If you will humble yourselves and lose all the distraction that you have in your daily lives, then you will find it a joy to put God first and will love to read and study His Word!
